Off-Market

A business that is not publicly advertised for sale — on Bizgora, a dark map pin used for research rather than a live asking price.

In general usage, an off-market deal is shopped quietly to a short list of buyers instead of being posted as a public listing. On Bizgora’s map, dark pins mark off-market business profiles: they support comps, neighborhood context, and research, and they are not the same as a for-sale listing with an asking price. Buyers filter for-sale versus off-market so they do not confuse a research profile with an active mandate. A privately brokered “whisper” listing elsewhere is a different process than an off-market pin on the map.
